What do you Want?

In the weight room we were given a task to do 10 workouts within a single class with atleast 3 sets. I personally do not frequent the gym even though I have a gym membership, so I had partnered up with Tristan you could say. I basically did everything he did at a lower level since I'm not very knowledgable about workouts. I'm still in the middle of learning & I plan to learn more about my body before this year ends. Hopefully I will become more fimiliar with the enviroment & tend to frequent the gym. Thats what I ultimately plan to do since your body stay with you for life while games are just a past time. When a game ends we move on, when we train to strive for more, their is no limit.

PE Interview

1. I Have always brought my strip everyday & participate in class but I had forgotten my strip one day last PE Class to be exact & I still participated in the activities required that day. I've only missed 3 days of the entire PE year so far & I've been actively attending.

2. I think I've exerted allot because truthfully I wouldn't give any time of day to go to the gym but since I'm in PE I think I try till it hurts. When were doing the running exercises & I'm along joking with my friends I have a tendency to be motivated by their words & when were doing it at our own pace it has a tendency to bring me down.

3. My attitude towards PE this year has been quite good but not so great at the start of the year but I'm getting to like PE more & more as the year progresses forward. I'm always motivated to go to PE since it was my fun class of the year!

4. I don't think I've done as much as that but I've made sure to encourage everyone & give off a enthusiastic smile whenever I can.

5. Personally I'm a type of person who doesnt know what to do in life & I don't really have goals set for fitness except give to all I can.

6. That I tend to sweat less than Brandon.

7. After looking at all this in my perspective it should be about 81% or so.

8. I'd like to get around 87% or so & I think to do that is to put some time of day towards going to the gym & doing cardio & other exercises since I have a membership.

Swimming

I had a lot of fun going to the YMCA together. We just goofed off most of the time but the time passed really fast. It was a very enjoyable experience & I'm glad I managed to tag along in the end after all rather than head up to the gym & do a strenuous workout.

The iGeneration (Generation Z)

The iGeneration is big wave which has swept away many youths throughout the world. Everyone is obsessed with such technology. I'm a iGeneration follower to be exact since I have an addiction to using media services everyday of my Life. I have a very large online profile spread over a multiple amount of games that I have played over my years. Generation Z started form 1989-2012. I was born in this period & I am pretty sure I am one of them. I am very addicted to media services not exactly facebook, twitter, but rather games which could also be considered a media service. I have played an innumerous amount of games in such a short time.

Report Card

From my perspective I over the last 6 weeks I have done something in which I could find joy in. I have missed 4 classes from the last 6 weeks, it is something which I am not proud of because I just wasted my time & that realization came to me days later. 3 times I skipped because I was addicted to a new game which came out & in a months time I quit it, my time was wasted, I was a "fool". A day I wasn't feeling very well due to have a tendency to being tempted in eating junk food during my free block just before P.E. I was always ready to jump in action at anytime, I always had my P.E strip. I continuously respected others as did everyone respect me & we had a great time playing games such as baseball & capture the flag together as a class. I personally think I've put in alot of effort because I've become pretty unfit over the summer even though it may not seem like much. I need to improve on my stamina & my willpower because I personally think I'm at my limit too soon & I've been amazed for a fact that with the support of my friends I've done twice as much before I stopped during our running exercises. I think I'm good at group activites such as capture the flag. My goal over the year is to improve my stamina & reduce my time on the long community run by atleast 5minutes in the near future.

Excuses

What is our biggest excuse?

I personally do not really make excuses because teachers usually have been teachers for years & they can tell the difference but lies & the truth. I'm personally a fit person for a fact that I'm usually feeling great 365 days in year & I am quite immune to colds since I love the night sky for than bright days.

Please post a reflection on your own thought process and personal motivation this past week.

I wasn't really motivated this week. I didn't really enjoy Mr.Ranu's class but I did have a good time joking around with him. I would rather have played baseball or capture the flag outside in the field than stay indoors in the gym since I am not one of the guys that wants to be/look buff.

The Grouse Grind

How did you experience the "grind"? What did you see and feel? Learn anything about yourself?

I think I had a pretty fun time going up Grouse Mountain It was the first time I had walked up the mountain before I went on the gondola which took about 5minutes at the most. I saw mostly trees everywhere far & wide & I felt pretty worn out when I made it to the top but I got my energy back within seconds. I learnt that I'm definelty not one of the quickest grouse mountain climbers

PE 11/12 Portfolio

I managed to achieve about 9.4 on the beep test which we had conducted. I think I could have reached 11 If I had brought along my running shoes. I felt pretty breathless after I left in between the 9.4 mark. I had a heartbeat about 197 b/m.

The Hill run wasn't very amusing & It definetly was not a walk in the park. I enjoyed our Capture the Flag session since everyone is enthusiastic & comes with their A Game.

Week Of Sept. 10

Capture the Flag, 30 minute continuous Pond Run, TOC, blogger, and 4km community run.

How did you feel your pacing skills were? Did they differ on the pond run as opposed to the community run?

Did your effort and attitude change throughout the week? Why?

I think my pacing skills were not so great I should have ran slower in the start rather than trying to maintain the same pace as my friends. I think my pacing skills during the pond run were allot better compared to the community run.

I put in as much effort as I put in any other day
